Ukraine's defenders, women and men, are all that truly stands between us and what Russia brings: torture, captivity, death, rape, abduction — the destruction of Ukrainians as a people. A stronger army means a weaker enemy and an earlier end to the war.
Below are foundations, and the state platform United24, that have supported the army for years: drones, vehicles, medicine, battlefield evacuation. Some of them also raise money for humanitarian needs.
Where to give
So supporting the army also supports the families of prisoners and the missing: exchanges become possible thanks to those who hold the front and those who back them at home. The families say so themselves. To support the families of Mariupol's defenders directly, contact the Association of Families of Azovstal Defenders.
Deported children are helped home by Save Ukraine; the state's effort is coordinated by Bring Kids Back UA, the President's initiative; it collects no money itself and points donors to the groups that run rescues.
